A Portrait of The Hot Mess

This portrait was inspired by my 4 year old granddaughter. She appears delicate and fragile with her thin build and translucent complexion. She is absolutely fearless. She was scrappy and determined from the moment she was born. A twin and premature she was tiny and tough right from the start. She has an older brother and a twin brother who she calls her baby brother. He is 4 minutes younger than her. She keeps up with both of them.
