Ballet Series: Still Life

I added the designs on the top of the tutu, defined the flower, hanger and hook. Now I have to decided if i will add the sparkles on the tutu and the sequins on the top? Not sure yet.
Layer Three of the Recital Tutu- Thicker paint with attention to the folds in the fabric

Yesterdays painting. This is the first layer of thinned oil paint to lay out the design for this new still life. The series is inspired by a recent ballet recital I attended. I borrowed a costume and will paint this from life. I plan to paint several of the dancers at a later date. Emme and Hudson are two of the dancers and are my newest and favorite muses.
